Expanding possibility.
The Shelter Rock Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) that empowers children, adolescents, and young adults, and especially foster youth and those pursuing the creative arts, to grow, create with confidence, and shape their futures with purpose and agency. We cultivate supportive, joyful environments where young people can discover their voices, develop their talents, and realize their full potential.
Our work is guided by three interconnected commitments: protection and stability, providing the secure foundation every young person deserves; creative empowerment, expanding opportunity through the arts, media, and technical training; and advocacy and systems change, centering youth leadership in efforts to transform policy and culture.
Through direct support, scholarships, access to creative studios, community spaces, and advocacy that amplifies young voices, we connect young people with the safety, opportunity, and mentorship they need to lead purposeful, self-determined lives and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
